Thank you Top Man! Did exactly what you said and found 2 bits of metal in chamber,now back on road and happy. Top 3 hardest tasks was from hardest 1: 2 bolts holding ignition switch 2: side hole on the switch 3 : removing the key barrel ( 2x as misaligned the antena slot 😬) P.S if someone struggling with ignition lock and can't turn your key to on position, I used big flat screwdriver to break loose the ignition lock default position then put key and aligned used wife's hair pin to get it off (DO NOT USE THIN WIRES ) One broke off had 15 min extra work to get that out as I was lucky to leave some wire at eng to grab on.. Anyway good luck guys

Awesome video. I did all that and switched the ignition cylinder to the new one. Quick question, I sent the ECU to a repair place. Since the VIN is attached to the ECU still and the key is with the ignition cylinder, shouldn't I be able to reinstall the rebuilt original ECU and start the car without reprogramming? Thank you for your help!!

All I run is Rotella t6 5-40 bro and run 30-34psi on a 4849g (g25-550) and ha been dogging it for about 3 years now as a daily, and I built it myself 😅... amazed it's still alive tbh (knock on wood lol).. but na I over built it so I can beat tf outta it .. but yeah bro Rotella is were its at imo , now I have heard different stuff from different people on it , but in my personal experience it is the beez kneez with a boosted build cuz all the turbo and diesel engine additives in it help a ton with the longevity of the engine and turbo.. but it's really all opinions without lab results 😅.. anyways peace and love bro keep it rad stay safe and build on..l8z famz and keep having fun brotha

wow ! Rotella oil looks bright like honey 🍯 compared to other oils fresh in the market ! This was probably the first time actually watching being poured out from the 5g jug . 10w30 looks pretty thick but I’m guessing because of weather conditions near your stay it’ll definitely benefit the life safety of the turbo & engine . As for where I stay & how hot 🥵 it still is & humid , I’ll continue running 5w-20 but I do also pour in other additives behind my oil change to help run my engine smooth & quite

lol putting diesel oil in a gas/petrol engine...good luck with the oil starvation in your bearings especially on your crank the oil is too thick for tolerences in a petrol engine..

Only other oil I've used in my G37x is Royal Purple. Looking forward to your results; I've been super curious about running diesel oil in a gasoline engine.

I’m surprised the crank bolt didn’t snap off in the crank 😂 you can tell if the cylinders are even somewhat. The only thing really going to be able to be done to confirm anything without a starter on the engine is a leak down test. Compression specs are based off of the engine turning at a certain revolution which is the speed of the starter.

Paused halfway - I don't see the clear wrinkling (blisteing) at all! I bought some color change out the spray bomb from Walmart. Last night, I cut my trunk jam in... Went to look this morning and it looks crazy good! Looking straight on it's a heavy metallic blue. Look down across and it turns into a deep purple. Only thing is it's super super thin and you have to fog it on basically.... It's wild because being so thin one pass looks covered! You have to use a black base... My base isn't even paint. It's flat black primer! I'm going to let the aerosol out the cans and punch a hole in it and pour into the spray gun... I'll let it dry completely. Scuff the car with a scotch bright pad and use a universal clear... Because being I have to fog it on, it's not having a shine. It dries super fast and it's been 90-100⁰ this week so you can imagine... But I'm going outside now to tape off everything so I can do a test run on the trunk lid...... But I could not believe how much of a shift it does for it being a spray can paint from Walmart! 6 cans should complete it so that's about $70 and then I think the clear kit is $150 PPG Acme
